Dehydrated skin is a condition often confused with dry skin, but dehydrated skin needs water while dry skin needs lipids. When the skin is dehydrated it is unhealthy and shows signs such as tightness, fine lines and flaking. This skin condition can easily be reversed with the help of humectant products such as this Skintegra Nectar essence. 

Nectar is a moisturising essence formulated for dehydrated skin with signs of skin ageing. This essence is composed of a complex of several powerful humectants (of various molecular masses) with natural soothing ingredients. The complex consists of a mixture of extracts of aloe vera, ginseng, cucumber and olive leaf with hyaluronic acid, lactic acid and amino acids (natural hydration agents). 

Besides intensely hydrating the skin, this essence has a slightly acidic pH (5.5) which helps to restore pH levels after cleansing and also fights the negative effects of hard water, since it acts as a chelating agent by bonding the metal ions of the water and thus preventing their negative effects on the skin.

Glycerine: A hydrating agent that helps maintain skin moisture levels. Betaine: Soothing and moisturising agent. Aloe Vera: Rejuvenates and moisturises the skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate: This hyaluronic acid salt is smaller in size and is therefore more easily absorbed. Restores moisture to the skin, prevents water loss and improves the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. 

Sodium PCA: Naturally occurring in the skin, it is an excellent ingredient for skin hydration.
